Comments about: The Happy Wanderer on the Dead Tree Path Like many images I create, this etching has a lot going on, some obvious, some obscure and hidden with symbolism.   My "knowledge Seeker" characters  were created from my imagination and represent man's involvement with knowledge  throughout  the eons.   Mathematical numbers, symbols, and equations represent  metaphors for knowledge.  I seem to enjoy making fun of us humans, especially their failure to sometimes see or deal with the obvious, often choosing a way that is far more difficult (or impossible) than a  known traditional simple solution.  There is no doubt much of my work can be described as surreal for I often combine different time periods, perspectives, and scales within the same image. I challenge you to look closely and experience the reward of exploring  through the image.  That's all I'm going to tell you!
